Mikhail Antipov
Mikhail is a Grandmaster and coach with experience teaching students of all ages and levels, from beginners to tournament players. He became a grandmaster at 16, then the youngest in Russia, and won the 2015 World Junior Chess Championship. As a competitive player, he is a coach of the UT Dallas chess team, helped the University of Missouri win the 2024 President’s Cup, and has coached Grandmaster Fabiano Caruana and the U.S. team at the Chess Olympiad. A FIDE Trainer rated above 2600, Mikhail combines top-level competitive experience with a clear, practical approach to help students build skill, confidence, and a lasting enjoyment of the game.
Rithul Dhanekula
Rithul is a competitive chess player and coach with experience teaching students of various ages and skill levels, from beginners to tournament players. He has 6+ years of experience running a chess club and teaching beginner and intermediate players. As a competitive player, he is a member of the UT Dallas Reserve Chess Team and won the U2000 section at the 2026 Pan-American Collegiate Chess Championship. He is also a US Chess Expert with a rating above 2000. Rithul enjoys combining his competitive experience with a teaching-focused approach to help students develop their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of the game.
Arturo Inda
Arturo is a chess coach who prepares the training program for students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to tournament players. He has five years of experience teaching chess and has coached more than 100 students. He also serves as Vice President of the UT Dallas Chess Club, whose team took 1st place at the 2026 Pan-American Intercollegiate Championship. Arturo combines a clear, structured program with a teaching-focused approach to help students develop their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of the game.
